Dale and Broad Haven Coastguard Rescue Teams were called at approx. 2.20am 28th March by the Dyfed Powys Police to assist in the search for a 26 year old man who had fallen into the River Cleddau by the Bristol Trader Public House, Haverfordwest. As the search was taking place the man was located in the water by the Mid and West Wales Fire Brigade and returned to shore. He was taken to Withybush Hospital for treatment but transferred to Glangwilli Hospital where his condition was described as critical.
